We can store all types of data including paper, files, media, tapes, CD's, boxes, Deeds and high value goods within our individually bar-coded locations to ensure fast and accurate retrieval at all times. We are proud to state that we have an accuracy rate of 99.99% which is far greater than the industry standard, significantly better than our competitors.
BAR CODING
We operate from our custom made state of the art database specifically designed to interact with our bar-coding retrieval, trace and tracking system, making it possible to locate archive quickly and efficiently at all times, providing full management information. Our database provides flexibility to adapt to a wide variety of other bar code systems unlike any other generic archive database.
BOX STORAGE
Our storage facility is professionally racked out maximising space and efficiency. It is within a secure fenced area, with intruder and fire alarms meeting all necessary legal requirements. All our staff are DBS checked, uniformed and employed by control Group. Our lighting is all sensor operated and our boxes are securely stored yet easily accessible, keeping retrieval costs down and improving response times.
LOOSE FILE STORAGE
We are way ahead of our competitors when it comes to loose file storage. We identify each file in the same way you do with our custom made bar code technology. We charge per item, and can return files in record time, providing an excellent service, not wasting space and keeping costs extremely competitive.
FIRE RESISTANT STORAGE
Control Group offer fire resistance storage providing up to 4 hours further fire protection. This is often utilized with confidential, valuable or sensitive documents, or when the need to meet legal storage requirements may apply. Our secure, fire resistant area is managed internally, hence reducing all risks of anything untoward occurring from implementing our 4 decades of experience.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED STORAGE
Control Group’s controlled storage environment is temperature regulated, set to 21ºc (70ºF) with a 1 centigrade tolerance level and humidity controlled to 50% RH with a 5% tolerance level, monitored by an abacus instruments chart recorder. This is an ideal area for storing electronic media or precious to valuable goods such as pictures.
ARCHIVE BOX SUPPLY
We supply numerous different sized boxes, our most popular being standard (STD) and Extra-Large (EXL) but we also are able to provide bespoke boxes to meet your requirements. From our extensive experience they are the strongest archive boxes you can purchase to date. As well as the strongest they are also easy to assemble, longer lasting, keeping archive safer for longer. Obviously this makes sense why you should purchase your archive boxes from Control Group.
SECURE DESTRUCTION
Control Group offer certified destruction within our own premises in our secure shred facility. Our secure shredding facility is versatile enough to destroy most materials, which is then recycled. By shredding your archives with us, you save 17 trees from being cut down per tonne of paper. Our shredding service gives you peace of mind that as soon as you need your archive destroyed it will be done sensitively, safely and securely, with a certificate of destruction then issued meeting compliance regulations.
BULK COLLECTION
Control Group will collect the initial intake of archive, supply
barcode labels and provide an audit of boxes or files free of charge, subject to a minimum storage period. Should archive be removed before the end of the agreed contract a fee, as set out in the Archive Cost Proposal, will apply.
OUR FACILITY
Our modern secure storage facility is the largest of its kind in Milton Keynes, offering a service second to none. Our fire, smoke and intruder detection systems have all been installed to meet national standards of BS 4737, BS 5839 & BS 1737.
With strict high security procedures in place covering all access points, restricted and controlled areas throughout the facility, including 24/7 monitoring via secure CCTV systems. As part of our quality service our facility complies with insurance security standards for further peace of mind. As part of our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, not only do we ensure that all lighting is fitting with automatic PIR sensors, but that we are continually monitoring and developing our procedures.
